The guiding principle of my life is rooted in an early realization that everything I love expands as I share it. This led me to pursue a life of facilitating the goals and aspirations of those around me through sharing the things that I love. And, there is, quite literally no place on earth I love more than the Central Coast of California. My fondest memories of childhood were fostered here; the most significantly happy times of my adult life begin every morning of every day that I get to live in this special place. It is precisely this passion, for this place, that I bring to relationships that I form with my clients in working on their behalf to fulfill their Central Coast dreams. Like many people, I arrived at this place and profession through a rather circuitous route. After putting myself through college as a skydiving instructor, I pursued a career in higher education that lead me to spend ten years in New England as a tenured English professor, while filling in the gaps designing training for multi-national corporations. Subsequently, I have been blessed to have lived all over the country and traveled the world helping people through my love of Literature, letters and adventure sports. But no matter how far I traveled, or how many beautiful places I lived, my heart never strayed far from SLO county. My love for this place is due to the love of a dearly departed aunt, with whom, as a child, I spent every summer and holiday. Under her nurturing eye, I rode my first wave and caught my first fish in Morro Bay. I developed an abiding appreciation for life in its simplest and most beautiful of forms. The smell of eucalyptus, pine and sea air still transport me to those bucolic day of simple living, and continue to define my existence here since my return. And so, in this next chapter, I find myself using my skills as a real estate professional to facilitate the aspirations of others hoping to make this region their home. I bring to the relationships I form with my clients a lifetime of experience in the region, professional acumen honed on the world stage, and the nurturing understanding and care of a life long educator.
